Maȟpíya Lúta, Takumi Akaishi etc. Listening to these music is no longer part of my daily life, so it's often some new discovery.

A strong sense of doom or sludge metal in some places (the opening of Wacantognaka), but instead of focusing on the depressive and evil riffs that doom metal is often overly obsessed with, it maintains a kind of melodic tone towards clearer skies or a better home (at the end of 2nd minute). All of it calls forth a nomadic spirit similar to that of the riding Rohanian, perseverance, courageous and resolute. The not-too-ear-piercing screaming are just right with the fuzzy instrumentals.

Wacantognaka - Wowahwala. One of the drums (supposed to be a shaman drum) is strange and subtle as they are very concerned with their band's identity (native north-American, Oglala Lakota indigenous people in the US Midwest). Off-theme drum beats that appear at 3:55 and 7:33 leaves one lost for a moment. After 5:04 (and then 9:00), it moving to clear acoustic guitar lament, the left and right channels seem to place the same guitar lines with different delays and tempo.

Band members are probably all anonymous, can't find much more information.

    >The Lakota people are also known as the Teton Sioux, traditionally made up of seven bands or sub-tribes of which the Oglala is one such band. One of the Oglala band's notable military leaders and politicians was Red Cloud (1822 – 1909) whose photographic portrait graces the front cover of Maȟpíya Lúta's first album "Wóohitike".

This's not a good solution. Because you need to *temp trust* domains of bc and bcbits.

Actuaaally I think that many bands, that adopt a mystical stance, that try to directly convey a Dionysus vibe, usually turn out to be very tedious and ridiculous. Even with secular music like rock, they don't need any distinctive "themes".
So this is why I don't like those hipster metal bands on BC.

Heavy psychedelic quartet from Virginia. Unblievable beautiful… I've found Windhand several years ago but obviously it sounds quite different now.
Now I think fuzz guitar should all best replaced by noise guitar. Soft fuzzing-echo-feedback guitar sounds too cheap, better add more noise particles.
People should remember that there were also real stoner-metal pioneers like Blues Creation.
Melodic, but no theme, better with sentimental singing is the best match for these music.

I suddenly remembered that way back when I was younger, I really want to form a band and play noisy improvised acid rock music like this one… I downloaded mp3 files which had a txt comment file from the ripper:

    >Here's a rare treat from a killer acid rock band from Kyoto! The name of the band is Renzoku Shasatsuma (which translated to serial killer or sniper) and the title of the record is "Shibuya Yaneura" (meaning "Shibuya Attic") and is a live recording from March 26th, 1978. This recording seems to be split into two seperate shows (on the same day perhaps?) with the first part showcasing some absolutely head-splitting psyche rock! Almost completely instrumental, this power trio let the music speak for itself (save for a few vocal lines here and there), and when their show starts off, it's notably weirder and more noisy than most rock bands were aiming for in '78. The guitar is cranked up loud as hell and is making a weird, ominous amplified power drone with phaser pedals cranked up and controls set to the heart of the sun. When the rest of the band enters the noise, they all kick into some killer mix of Sabbath and Procol Harem (yes…strange, but true). Then after some tasty soloing…they settle into some kind of Fushitsusha styled free rock vibe, with the drums scattering and stumbling all around the open spaces. Needless to say, pretty exciting stuff. As the songs move on, they continue to explore more of that lovely damaged psyche with heavy guitar soloing and some slight blues undertones. As the record goes into the second part, Renzoku Shasatsuma channel more of their inner rock beast and deliver some faster, more upbeat, and savage rock. Extended solo (mostly guitar) and long jamming makes for some good times…although, it must be said, that there are more vocals on this second part of the cd and they can be a little tough to ignore at times…but hey, it's a live recording and it's raw and unpolished. It's just rock and roll…so i suppose I can't complain.

    >Fans of Black Sabbath, Les Rallizes Denudes, Overhang Party, Ningen Isu, Fushitsusha / Keiji Haino, and other legendary acid rockers are encouraged to check this one out. Let me know what you think after you've spun this platter in your love den.
    >I'd like to dedicate this post to Dirk from Cities On Flame who sadly passed away last month as most of you may know.

Why I was never a fan of Overhang Party and Fushitsusha? LOL. TBH the vocal's weak sound (AHhhh, ahh) is really a disaster I don't think any LRD enjoyer would be able to endure this part…

An album from a South Korean metal band that makes me to be instantly drenched in endless memories and sad images.
A blend of 新月 Shingetsu + 美狂乱 Bi Kyo Ran, so it's very much has a similar sense - non musically speaking - with japanese progressive / psychedelic, but its ultimate specialness comes from their unpolished use of synthesizer technology. Most raw feelings.

I don't know how this feeling comes to me, that, if Les Rallizes Denudes pushed their music to the extremest, they won't be very noisy, but they'd become another Sad Legend - again, vibeologically, not musically, since really only this sad legend didn't care about music technologies, their synthesizer's usage is laughable.
